Our Journey: From Veteran Support to Universal Solutions
The June 2026 Launch
We launched Squaddie Box with a clear, vital mission: to support our homeless veterans. By providing a fixed, permanent address location, we unlocked immediate access to a wide range of essential local services.
Council Partnerships
The impact was immediate. Local councils quickly recognized the power of the project. Multiple local authorities signed up, using Squaddie Box to successfully reconnect regional veterans with the critical support systems they deserved.
Expanding Our Mission
But our work didn’t stop there. The success of our veteran rollout sparked an urgent question from our council partners: How do we help everyone else?
Thousands of non-military individuals face homelessness across the UK. Without a fixed address, they remain entirely “unseen” on official registers—leaving them completely cut off from the vital assistance needed to rebuild their lives.
The Future: Leaving No One Unseen
We are now actively collaborating with local government to expand the Squaddie Box model. By evolving our platform, we aim to bridge the gap for all homeless individuals, providing the foundational stability required to step back into a normal, secure daily life.
.
Life Trauma
There are numerous issues that cause homelessness and these need to be fixed or treated to ensure the Mental Health, Physical Health an wellbeing of individuals returning to what the rest of us believe is a normal life scenario
Meeting the Needs of those we support
Our team have began completing both new and refresher courses relevant to our work with Civilian beneficiaries, as we know how important it is to maintain competency and additional skills or knowledge, when engaging with individuals who are homeless as this aids us in sign posting to more advanced help when they need it most.
