Squaddie Box (CIC) Conference 2026

Squaddie Box (CIC) is incredibly proud to celebrate the resounding success of our recent Veterans and Blue Light Conference.

The landmark event brought together a powerful coalition of expert speakers, dedicated charity partners, local councils, and emergency service representatives. Together, we focused on our core mission: breaking the cycle of veteran homelessness and tackling the social exclusion that deeply impacts so many of our nation’s service leavers and emergency workers.

At Squaddie Box, we know that without a fixed address, individuals fall through the cracks of society—blocked from accessing vital healthcare, financial aid, housing support, and employment opportunities. The conference served as a vital forum to share meaningful insights, spark deep conversations, and build stronger collaborative networks to expand our physical mailbox initiative nationwide.

Empowering Change Together

The day was filled with actionable discussions on how to scale our support systems. We explored:

Overcoming Administrative Barriers: How a simple, secure postal address acts as a direct lifeline back into society.
Expanding Community Trust Networks: Strategic planning for installing more physical mailboxes in accessible, prominent locations like transit stations, GP surgeries, and community hubs.
Holistic Support & Reintegration: Combining physical infrastructure with trauma-informed care and training to help beneficiaries heal from psychological burnout, anxiety, and trauma.

We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who attended, spoke, and contributed to making the conference such an inspiring day. Your shared belief and commitment are what allow us to turn an innovative idea into a nationwide reality.

Squaddie Box CIC would like to say a heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended the Capel Military Show and showed their support for our work. Your encouragement, conversations, donations, and kindness help us continue supporting serving personnel, veterans, and the wider military community.

We are especially grateful to all the veterans who came along and supported us throughout the event. It was an honour to meet so many people, hear your stories, and share what Squaddie Box CIC is all about.

Our thanks also go to the Capel Military Show Events Team for their hard work in organising such a fantastic event, and to Sweetpea for doing a brilliant job keeping the toilets clean and well looked after throughout the show.

Security & Policing Show 2026

Squaddie Box (CIC) attended the Policing and Security Show at the Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre, gaining valuable support from those that attended our stall with our partners Abloy Locks. We would like to thank everyone who gave support and reached out to us during the show

Visit from Nigel Farage – Clacton-on-Sea was chosen as a location after Squaddie Box CIC wrote to every MP in England, Wales and Scotland and a very positive response was received from Clacton MP Nigel Farage, who agreed to cover the cost of buying the box so the social enterprise only needed to cover installation and maintenance

English Veterans Awards 2025 Nomination

Squaddie Box is that bridge back. It doesn’t replace the amazing charities already working tirelessly to support our community – it strengthens them. By providing an address, we enable every other form of help to be more effective. Housing charities, mental health services, financial advisors, training providers – all of them rely on their clients having an address. We provide that missing piece. That’s why I truly believe we are the ideal partner to every organisation out there already doing so much good. To be nominated for not one, but two categories at this year’s awards, is proof that people see the value in what we’re doing. But if I win, it won’t be my win. It will be a win for the Squaddie Box team, for all the partners and supporters who have believed in us from the start, and above all, for the veterans who now have their dignity, independence, and access to society restored. Military Odyssey 2025

The Military Odyssey Show 2025 was our First major event, receiving a very warm welcome from other Charities and members of the public and those doing re-enactments – We attend all three days, learning, listening to stories of people who spoke about their needs and how Squaddie Box could helped them. It’s taken time but we are now here to Aid both Military Veterans & 999 service Veterans who are homeless and need a permanent address allowing them to get support
