Squaddie Box CIC

We support homeless military veterans and blue light services personnel.

At Squaddie Box CIC, we support veterans and emergency services personnel as they rebuild their lives. Starting with a personal mailbox, we provide the stability, resources, and community they need to regain dignity and hope, ensuring they are never left behind.

On behalf of Squaddie Box (CIC), we extend our deepest gratitude to The National Lottery and the millions of people across the UK who take part and continue to support it. Your contribution has made a life-changing impact on the lives of our veterans and 999 personnel who, through no fault of their own, have found themselves homeless and without stability.

Thanks to this vital support, Squaddie Box is able to provide a secure postal address and essential access to services for those who have served our country and communities. This simple yet powerful step enables individuals to reconnect with support networks, access benefits, secure employment opportunities, and take positive strides towards rebuilding their lives with dignity and hope.

Your generosity and belief in our mission allow us to continue providing essential support to those who stood on the front line for us all. From everyone at Squaddie Box (CIC), and from the veterans and emergency service personnel whose lives you’ve touched—thank you.

How can YOU help?

You can help make this vital service possible by donating. Your support will fund the installation of secure post boxes, giving former government and blue light employees a reliable address to access crucial benefits and resources. Every contribution empowers individuals to rebuild their lives.

Scan the QR code for our crowdfunding site. Your donation funds secure mailboxes that break the cycle of homelessness for veterans and blue light workers – giving them the fixed address they need to get ID, access benefits, find housing, and rebuild their lives.

Our Story

It started when Dean Wormleighton began helping homeless veterans who had no fixed address. Again and again, he saw the same issue—without an address, they couldn’t access the help they were entitled to. That simple but devastating barrier sparked an idea: Squaddie Box. A secure postal address service built by veterans, for veterans and blue light workers, offering a lifeline back to housing, benefits, and hope.

Squaddie Box Current and Future Plans

During 2025 Squaddie Box became officially organised as Community Interest Company (CIC), which is already making a direct impact on veteran support across the UK. Our first box is active in Littlehampton, West Sussex, supporting six veterans so far. We’re proud to also announce that our second box has now gone live in Clacton, supporting four more veterans, with support from Nigel Farage.
This marks the beginning of our wider national rollout — and we’re only just getting started.
We are actively seeking key sponsors, funding partners, and supporters to help us place more boxes where they’re needed most.
If you or your organisation can help, please get in touch.
